Getting to Turin

Arriving atInto the cityApprox. time
Turin airport (Caselle)Direct bus or regional train to the centre≈ 30 to 50 min
Milan airportsTrain to Milano Centrale, then Frecciarossa or Italo to Turin≈ 1 h Milan to Turin
By trainTorino Porta Nuova and Porta Susa, linked to Milan, Rome, Genoa and Francevaries

Many visitors fly into Milan, which has far more flights, and take the high-speed train to Turin. Doing both cities in one weekend is very doable.

Check before you go: timetables on trenitalia.com and italotreno.com. Book early for big games: train fares rise fast.

From the centre to the ground

The Allianz Stadium is in the north-west of the city, in the Continassa district, about 30 to 40 minutes from the centre.

Times and line numbers sometimes change between seasons, so check the GTT app on the day.

Buying an official ticket

Named tickets: as everywhere in Italy, your ticket carries your name. Bring your ID card or passport.

Where to sit

The Allianz Stadium is a modern ground with no running track: you're close to the pitch everywhere, even up high.

Bonus: Torino and the Grande Torino

Turin has two souls. Torino play at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino (about 28,000 seats), south of the centre: tram 4 from Porta Nuova to Sebastopoli or Filadelfia, 12 to 15 minutes. Their ultras fill the Curva Maratona. Named tickets on torinofc.it.

If you have time, go up to the Basilica of Superga, where the Grande Torino team's plane crashed in 1949: a place every football fan should see once. The Derby della Mole between Juve and Toro is the match to target to feel that rivalry.
