From the centre to the ground
- Fulham Broadway (District line): the closest station, about 5 minutes on foot.
- West Brompton (District line and Overground): a good alternative, about ten minutes' walk.
- Imperial Wharf (Overground): handy on the way back to avoid the crowds.
Tap your contactless card at the gates. After the match, Fulham Broadway is managed by police: be patient, or walk to West Brompton.
Buying an official ticket
- Official ticket office at chelseafc.com. For the Premier League most sales are for season ticket holders and members, with priority to those who have bought matches before.
- Official resale: season ticket holders put their seat back on sale through the club, at face value.
- Cups and Europe: often more accessible.
- Hospitality: the safest route for a specific date.
Watch out: in the UK, reselling a football ticket without the club's permission is a criminal offence. Avoid unofficial resale sites.
Where to sit
- Matthew Harding Stand: behind the goal, home to the loudest fans.
- Shed End: the other stand behind the goal, full of history, which also houses the away section.
- East Stand and West Stand: the side stands, best view of the game.
Stamford Bridge is an old-school ground squeezed between streets: you're close to the pitch, but some seats have pillars or a restricted view. Check the plan when you buy.
